Negative Pressure Isolators are indispensable when compounding hazardous drugs, to minimize airborne toxins from entering the laboratory environment. The negative air pressure is maintained inside the working chamber as compared to the interchange compartment. This level of protection ensures chemotherapy agents or other hazardous materials will safely be retained inside the isolator, therefore protecting the user and the space surrounding the work area. You can select between the following configurations, depending on the application: Recirculating Air Negative Pressure Isolators (NR models) which do not require ducting to the outside of the building, or Total Exhaust Negative Pressure Isolators (NTE models) which must be ducted to the extract the filtered fumes to the outside of the building. Both models offer an ergonomic design consisting of a large work surface with a sliding work tray, under the work surface waste system and a counter balance transfer window. Furthermore, these isolators offer an ISO Class 5 clean air environment. The Negative Pressure Isolators are equipped with a selection of standard accessories namely the three-position IV Bar with 6 hooks, large oval glove ports with flexible two-piece Nitrile sleeves/gloves and hinged slanted window. A wide range of additional options and features are also available upon request. Both models of Recirculating Air Negative Pressure Isolators (NR models) or Total Exhaust Negative Pressure Isolators (NTE models) come in the following standard sizes: 4 foot and 6 foot, with two glove ports.
